Available to students 15 + and older, this package includes the state-required:

• 30 hours of classroom (12 two-hour 20 minute days and three two-hour days)
• 4 hours of simulation
• 1 hour of observation
• 5 hours of in-car driving lessons (5 one-hour drives)

We highly recommend you study the Washington State Driver's Guide.

Photo ID is preferred to test (i.e., state-issued, passport, military, school, or yearbook). If under 18 and don't have a government photo, bring a birth certificate, a parent on the certificate, and their ID. Be sure to pre-register with the DOL prior to testing. (If you have a Washington State ID or permit, you are already pre-registered.)

Note: For Fastlane Academy students that have already completed the Drivers Education Course with us - the first attempt at the Knowledge Test is free. You can enroll from your Student Portal.

Student must have passed the Washington Knowledge Test within the past two years.

Must let Examiner know if you are using an interlock device, if so, Test must be done in your vehicle.

Payment is required at the time of registration to schedule the test.

Use of Fastlane Academy vehicle is optional.

If you are using your vehicle for the test, you must be able to show current vehicle registration and proof of insurance. The vehicle must be tidy and in proper working condition.

**WA Skills test fee is non-refundable. Retest fee is the same as initial test fee.
